Products
Kiln Dried Logs: We offer hardwood and larch logs, which are kiln-dried to ensure low moisture content for optimal burning. Logs are sold by the cubic metre (m³), and delivered loose, bulk bags or nets.
Additional Products: We also provide kindling, fire starters, and firelighters as optional add-ons to your order.
Pricing
Pricing Structure: All prices listed include VAT. The prices vary based on the type and volume of logs purchased, with discounts applied for larger orders. Please refer to our current price list on the website for detailed information.
Price Adjustments: Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, orders confirmed before any price change will be honoured at the agreed rate.
We make every effort to ensure that the pricing displayed on our website is correct. However, if an error in the pricing of a product is found we reserve the right to either cancel your order or contact you to arrange payment of any extra sum due or refund any over-payment made by you (as applicable). The processing of an order can be cancelled or corrected by us at any time up to the shipment of that order and any related items.
Customer Information
You should always check that the contact information you provide is correct before creating a customer account or proceeding to payment.
You are responsible for maintaining your own username and password, where required to access your customer account. You should ensure that you store your username and password securely and that the details required to access your customer account are not provided to another party.
As a customer you are responsible for your customer account and actions taken within it. If you are aware or suspect that your customer account username and password or other details have become known to a third party, you should inform us immediately.
We reserve the right to restrict or remove your access to this website where you breach these terms and conditions. Such restriction or removal will take place without recourse or explanation to you where we solely deem it appropriate or necessary.
Ordering and Payment
Order Placement: Orders can be placed through our website or by contacting us directly.
Payment Methods: We accept payment through our online shop or by card when you contact us directly.
Order Confirmation: Once an order is placed, we will contact you to finalise delivery details.

By choosing Klarna as your payment method at Grampian Logs, you agree to the following terms and conditions in addition to our general Terms of Service.

Grampian Logs offers payment via Klarna, These options are offered directly by Klarna and Klarna’s Buy Now, Pay Later products are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Credit is subject to status, eligibility and affordability checks. Terms and conditions apply. - Klarna’s Terms
Your use of Klarna is governed by Klarna’s own terms and privacy policy, which are separate from Grampian Logs. Before choosing Klarna at checkout, you must agree to Klarna’s terms, which are available here: https://www.klarna.com/uk/terms-and-conditions/ - Payment Disputes and Responsibility
Once you choose Klarna as your payment method, Klarna becomes responsible for collecting payment. If you have questions regarding payments, missed instalments, or charges, you must contact Klarna directly. Grampian Logs is not liable for any payment issues arising from Klarna’s services. If you are unhappy with a Klarna credit agreement or the service you receive, you can make a complaint directly to Klarna. If your complaint cannot be resolved, you may also be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service, subject to the applicable rules. - Order Fulfilment
Choosing Klarna does not affect the processing or dispatch of your order. All orders are subject to our standard fulfilment timelines. However, we reserve the right to delay or cancel an order if Klarna declines the payment. - Refunds and Returns
Refunds for orders paid via Klarna will be processed according to our Returns Policy. Klarna will update your payment schedule or issue a refund as applicable. Refund times may vary depending on Klarna’s processes. - Data Sharing
To offer Klarna as a payment option, we share certain personal and order information with Klarna. This includes contact details, billing/shipping address, order total, and item details. This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Klarna’s Privacy Policy. - Changes to Klarna Terms
Grampian Logs reserves the right to modify or withdraw Klarna payment options at any time without prior notice. Klarna may also update their terms independently.

Delivery
Delivery Areas: We deliver to homes and businesses throughout Angus, Aberdeenshire, and East Perthshire. Delivery is free within a 25-mile radius of our depots. A delivery fee will apply outside this area.
Delivery Schedule: We aim to deliver within 14 days of receiving and confirming your order; however, delivery times may vary based on order volume and logistical constraints. If delivery is going to exceed 14 days we will contact you directly. We reserve the right to deliver up to 28 days after order confirmation is received.
Delivery Conditions: Access to the delivery location by a 10ft by 6ft tipping trailer is the responsibility of the customer. Our delivery personnel will endeavour to place your order where you request it. However, this may be limited by conditions and obstructions encountered at the delivery site. If access is restricted, please provide specific instructions when placing your order.
Loose tipped logs; In the event that safe access or manoeuvring space within your property is unavailable, Grampian Logs reserves the right to deposit your order at the nearest secure and suitable location. Grampian Logs shall not be held liable for products deposited in public areas such as streets, footpaths, or other spaces.
Bulk bag deliveries; bag deliveries are made using our truck and trailer. Our bags will be lifted off the trailer and deposited in a convenient location. Due to the weight of bags the distance from the trailer to deliver location is limited.
Stacking Service: We offer an optional log stacking service within 15 yards of the delivery point for an additional fee. We reserve the right to refuse stacking that exceeds 15 yards from the delivery truck and, either or, refund you or make an additional charge for this service.
Returns and Cancellations
Order Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours of delivery may incur a fee. Notification of cancellation must be in writing
Cancelling after dispatch: We cannot accept any cancellations after your order has left our depo. In such cases, the order will proceed as planned, and you will be responsible for the full order amount, including any applicable delivery charges.
Returns: We do not accept returns of firewood products unless they are found to be sub-standard upon delivery. If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 24 hours to arrange a replacement.
Liability
Product Quality: Our logs are kiln-dried to ensure low moisture content, but they must be stored properly after delivery to maintain quality. We are not responsible for issues arising from improper storage by the customer.
Limitation of Liability: Grampian Logs shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the use of our products or services.
Events Outside Our Control
We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms & Conditions if the delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of god, war, civil disorder or industrial dispute.
Privacy and Data Protection
Data Collection: We collect personal information necessary to process your order and communicate with you. This includes contact details and delivery information.
Data Usage: Your data will be used solely for the purposes of fulfilling your order and improving our services. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
